A Eucharistic procession and Patriotic Rosary took place through the streets of downtown Akron on July 3, 2021. Beginning at St. Vincent de Paul Church and ending at St. Bernard’s, priests from the parishes of St. Bernard, St. Vincent, St. Francis de Sales, Queen of Heaven, St. Anthony of Padua and St. Sebastian, joined the faithful in praying the Patriotic Rosary, praying for all offices of government and each of the 50 States. Organized by the Legion of Mary, Our Lady of Humility Praesidium, the procession attracted faithful from all over Northeast Ohio. “We had over 100 people in the procession, another 100 at St. Bernard’s, and another 2 dozen at St. Vincent’s, all praying the Rosary simultaneously” commented Ro Reed, President of the group who organized the event. “It was beautiful to witness the outpouring of support from so many Pastors and parishioners who share our desire to bring Jesus and Mary into the Community.” For more information and to learn of upcoming events, visit www.LOMOLOH.org.
