The Winter Function was held at St Ambrose Church and hosted by the "Our Lady of Joy" praesidium. The church, decorated to reflect the austerity of Advent, looked beautiful in simplicity. Legionaries celebrated mass together with the congregation followed by the recitation of the Legion prayers. Luncheon was graciously supplied courtesy of the Our Lady of Joy praesidium and their caterer, who provided her services at no cost. The day was one of thanksgiving and fellowship.

The Legion of Mary from St. Albert the Great parish visited three 4th grade PSR classes to speak of Our Blessed Mother and show them how to pray the rosary as well as how to make a rosary. Each student gets to take home his or her rosary along with a pamphlet of how to say the rosary. The children were very attentive and respectful. It was our privilege to share our love for Mary with them. We will be visiting the 4th grade class at St. Albert's School in May. Each class numbers approximately 30 students and this is our 3rd year participating in this mission. We received thank you cards from some of the students and I'm enclosing just one of many. - Sister Carrie Kercel The Northeast Cleveland Curia Acies was hosted on Sunday, March 23, 2014 by Our Lady of Peace Parish in Cleveland. Many were inspired to witness well over 60 Legionaries from the east side of Cleveland renew their Legionary promises. The members of the Queen of Peace praesidium at the parish served as gracious hosts, including conducting a beautiful ceremony and holding a fine reception where delicious international foods and camaraderie were shared. Most noteworthy was the number of young Legionaries from Our Lady of Peace's two praesidia (below) who renewed their Legionary commitment.
